Puppy Classes
We currently offer an 8 week course on Saturday mornings. Training skills include recall, place training, solid stay, boundary manners and loose lead walking.
Our puppy classes are tailored to deliver expert instruction in early foundation obedience training as well as general development. This allows the owners to get ahead of the game, prevent issues from occurring as well as getting to enjoy their new family addition to the full potential as fast as possible.
“Jake is a skilful, patient & dedicated trainer. We started taking our 6 month old German Shepherd, Poppy, for one-on-one training with Jake. Throughout the sessions, Jake guided us through effective methods such as markers, timing, corrections, etc. Within 2 weeks, Poppy stopped digging in the backyard. When we had to go overseas, Poppy stayed with Jake for two lots of 2-weeks board & train. When we returned, we were surprised at how much Jake achieved with Poppy, who is still a puppy, within such a short timeframe. She walks much better on the lead, and we now use place training to better integrate her into the home & daily life. I highly recommend Jake to all dog owners. He is always willing to help.
